French Eiffel Tower at Sunrise Ornaments - Glass
Using a centuries old process developed in Eastern Europe, the famous French Eiffel Tower is magnificently reproduced as a glass Christmas ornament. Each French Christmas ornament is constructed of molten glass hand-blown into a mold. Once the glass is shaped, it is then silvered. Silvering helps to create a reflective property and depth of color in the ornament. After the Paris ornaments are dry, they are then decorated. Each of these Landmark Creations ornaments is hand-painted. The painting process can take up to 8 hours for a single Paris Eiffel Tower ornament. As they are individually hand-painted, you are guaranteed to receive a unique ornament, since no two will look exactly the same.
We are proud to offer you these Paris Christmas ornaments and we are sure they will be cherished in your family for generations.
Despite its relatively hollow appearance, the tower also holds a weather station, a restaurant, and a surprisingly cozy apartment used by Monsieur Eiffel himself. Throughout its history, the Eiffel Tower has been the centerpiece of many adventures, including the time a con man sold it to a gullible scrap metal dealer. It's a good thing the scrap deal was not legitimate, since nearly 180 million visitors so far have come to pay homage to this unforgettable landmark.
